Liane Martinez

Liane Martinez joined Foster-Morales, PLLC in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Liane worked with the FIU Law Practice, providing family law services to low- and moderate-income families who did not qualify for free legal assistance. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Lisette M. Reid, United States Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Liane graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She subsequently received a full merit scholarship to attend the Florida International University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude.

During law school, Liane served on the FIU Law Review and the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates. She also served as President of FIU Law’s Negotiation and Mediation Team. As a member of the team, Liane earned the Outstanding Negotiation Skills Award and achieved national recognition as a ranked negotiator.

Liane is an active member of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar and serves on its Children’s Issues, Continuing Legal Education, and Emerging Family Lawyers Committees. She also successfully completed the 2023 American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Institute for Family Law Associates in Chicago, Illinois, an intensive program focused on the development of advanced skills in matrimonial and family law practice.

Liane is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
