Kaitlyn Duarte is an Associate at Foster-Morales and practices in the area of marital and family law. She originally joined Foster-Morales, PLLC in the fall of 2025 as a law clerk.
Kaitlyn was born and raised in Miami, Florida.

Prior to joining the firm, she attended Florida International University College of Business where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. During undergraduate, she interned at Lennar within its investment division, LenX.

After graduating from Florida International University, she attended Florida International University College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude. During law school, she was a Staff Member in FIU Law’s World Arbitration and Mediation Review. She was also on the executive board for the Hispanic Law Student Association and the Business Law Society.

During the summers of 2024 and 2025, Kaitlyn was a Summer Associate at the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Mastec, inc., a Fortune 500 construction and infrastructure company, reviewing and revising NDAs, membership interest agreements, and asset purchase agreements. During her time, she also participated in the due diligence process, where she analyzed financial data and contracts specific to each prospective acquisition.

Additionally, during the Spring semester of 2025, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kansas R. Gooden at the Third District Court of Appeal in Florida.

Kaitlyn is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and Cuban American Bar Association.

Kaitlyn is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
